Clean hotel, excellent service, great staff. I stayed 3 nights, but didn't have any room service at all. Anyways, I was helped when I needed service. The hotel does not have a Smart TV.
I was driving back home from Montreal. It was getting late and need to stop for the night. I went on the app and booked my room. When I arrived, I see people standing outside and pitch dark. The front desk lady told me they had lost power due to the storm and couldn’t talk reservation at the time. Very friendly and sweet. Told me she would have to wait till the power was on and she would cancel my reservation for me. Told her thank you and left. I found another hotel when the sweet lady called me back. She told me her boss could check me in from her house if I still wanted me room. Told her I was sorry, I already found another hotel miles down the road. She told me no problem and that her manager would cancel the room. That right there is amazing customer service. I never gave her my number, but she remembered my name and looked up my number to call me to offer to be able to check me in. I felt bad that I had to leave, but that was great customer service!!! I would definitely go back to this hotel for that reason right there!! Thank you!
We stayed here for 3 weeks and had a really solid experience overall. The hotel is pet friendly, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and customer service was consistently great. The breakfast was awesome every morning with a super friendly staff, and I appreciated the regular 3-night room cleanings. Staff was also quick to pick up trash and towels left in the hall. Parking was easy and there were multiple convenient access points into the building. A few downsides: the pool was “under construction,” but I never saw any actual work being done. After reading older reviews saying the same thing, it felt a bit misleading. We also noticed a few bugs in the room, and several outlets—especially the USB ones—didn’t work. Lastly, there’s a homeless family living in a concrete wall next to the hotel. While they didn’t bother us directly, they’ve panhandled a few times which can make parking or walking by feel a little uncomfortable. Despite that, it was a comfortable and convenient stay overall.
The room was exceptional, everything was well laid out making it very comfortable. I couldn't believe the fantastic breakfast they served. To top it off they texted me when I got to the room to make sure everything was okay and the textred again as we were about to leav, I thought this was a very personal touch.
Location to base is good, breakfast good, staff is friendly and answered all my questions. I stayed here for 15 nights. Room service took out out my trash & gave me new towels and everything I needed and are real friendly. However my bed sheets were dirty and got multiple bed bugs or spider bites or something while sleeping around week 2. More staff is needed for housekeeping or new sheets or less load in the washer or dryer or something I feel like the bed sheets aren't as clean as they can be. Also there were ants as soon as I started eating in my room. Other than that experice was good but the bites on my hand and arm just makes my experience okay.
Hotel right off the highway. Not the greatest neighborhood but hotel was updated, very clean. Loved the low-lights in the room! Pool is not working which is deceiving on website and was very disappointing. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing! Got there earlier then originally scheduled and hotel Manager Shanna, was very helpful! Obviously hotel is under great management with her due to staff was very receptive to her guidance and the atmosphere was very pleasant!
Hey, I got lost in Hopewell Virginia in the middle of the night trying to find this hotel. I didn’t know the city and I was tired. However I called the hotel and Donna at the desk was with me for 15 minutes giving me step-by-step directions. Thank you, Donna! You went above and beyond!!
Came here for orientation and breakfast and staff were amazing , the food for breakfast switch up everyday is something to look forward to
